How to use Holon Replay

Add interactive quizzes and analytics to course videos
Holon Replay lets you embed videos with interactive quiz checkpoints, viewing heatmaps, and grade passback to Canvas.

Add VideoPaste a YouTube, Vimeo, or MP4 URL to add a video to your library

Add QuizzesClick the timeline to add quiz questions at any point in the video

Students WatchVideo pauses at quiz points — students must answer before continuing

Connect to Canvas
Holon Replay needs your Canvas API token to scan your course for videos, track student progress, and show heatmaps.

Open Canvas Account Settings
In Canvas, click your profile picture → Settings
Open Canvas Settings →

Generate a New Access Token
Scroll to "Approved Integrations" → click + New Access Token → enter "Holon Replay" as the purpose → Generate Token
